Embracing Our Eternal Identity

We all have a beginning and an ending in this life, but in another life, we will continue indefinitely. The concept of eternal existence—where time becomes irrelevant—is a fascinating notion. It’s not just about living forever, but about being in a state beyond the constraints of time.
How can one simply be indefinitely? Though the question seems simple, it opens a world of philosophical and spiritual contemplation.

Throughout our lifespan on Earth, we experience beginnings and endings. It’s easy to lose sight of the eternal that dwells within us. Yet, there’s a strategy to our being here—one that helps us understand our purpose on Earth. It all comes back to this moment, right now:
I’m human (natural), and I’m eternal (spiritual).

I can’t find my eternal reflection in a natural mirror. So, I study my being through my identity, and as my mind becomes established, I find myself in the mystery. Yes, that’s right—I'm an invisible, eternal being living in a visible, temporary body. This understanding of our spiritual identity is more than philosophy; it’s a source of immense power, freedom, and resilience.

At this point in life, I’m more aware of my spiritual being—my true identity—than ever before. I realize that nothing can truly stop me. Yet, the strategies of man—societal norms, expectations, and pressures—often try to distort that perception. These patterns, ingrained in us from an early age, can make us feel like we must conform.

We all want to control what people think because that often determines what they do. But perhaps the better approach is simply this: let it be. Give each person the space to be.

When you encounter someone who is fearless in their being—whether their expression seems good or bad—they are, practically speaking, unstoppable. They move through life with confidence, not because of validation, but because of inner alignment.

Sometimes, we meet those seasoned by life and experience who seek no affirmation. They are content simply to be—and in doing so, they give life to others. No control is needed, and fear holds no power over them. It’s as if they are like a tree planted by rivers of living water—rooted, nourished, and unshaken.

“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that brings forth its fruit in its season,
whose leaf also shall not wither;
and whatever he does shall prosper.”
— Psalms 1:3 (NKJV)

May we all learn to live from that place of spiritual rootedness—aware of our eternal being, at peace in the present, and free to simply be.

Have a blessed day!
