Whisper Words Of Wisdom

I'm here to whisper some words of wisdom. So, I sit quietly, listening to my meditative music, and see what emerges in the realm of thought and belief. My trusted dog is by my side, at least when there's no one else to keep me company. Who sits by you when you're alone? I find comfort in knowing that God is with me through it all.

Someone needs to hear this today: there is someone by your side, just like my poodle this morning, offering support without judgment, worry, grudges, or a lack of forgiveness. With them, the slate is clean. This is why we sometimes enjoy meeting new friends; they have no record of our past mistakes or grievances against us. However, this connection may last only for a time. As they say, the honeymoon period eventually comes to an end, and we return to reality.

This is a dark time for some, and maybe for many, and you know their feelings about the church, especially in America right now. Many are looking for a safe place to sit in peace while the world around them spins out of control, with rhetoric from both sides of the political aisle and maybe the religious one, too. Many carry their opinions on their sleeves, making them part of their relationships, and to each their own. It is confusing times, and if you look too far left or right, you'll become blind. I'm just holding my spot in the earth from my own couch and letting the world pass me by until they all settle down and let us live again.

You can only cry wolf for so long, and then people will eventually stop responding. So, many are now worn out and will stop responding to the sensationalism that goes on around our country, which has people so divided and thinking that a human person is the answer for the world. Hold onto your peace and what concerns you, and let the world, in a sense, spin without you. Toby and I can sit, think, write, and choose to live in a peaceful place for a while longer. Just let those with more passion and energy fight it out without you. Some things are worth fighting for, and others not so much. "So let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, whisper words of wisdom and let it be." That’s all I have to say about that.
