You Are Who You Are

You are who you are, and no apology is necessary, and no explanation is needed. You came splashing into this world the way you are, and you were meant to add color to the world and so continue as yourself and no one else. You could circle the globe a few times and not find anyone exactly like yourself, and that’s the way it was meant to be. Encourage others to find themselves and finish well in their uniqueness they have been given. What’s in it for you and what’s in it for others is purpose and meaning in life as well as a greater connection to the divine, and there is a place in each one of us that’s divine, and that’s you that has God-likeness. Your God-likeness connects all of us and blends you into you while still being connected to others.

Oh well, let’s jump into the deep and see what there is for you today. If you could count as high in numbers that your mind would allow you to, what would that number be? And if you could jump as high as you could jump, what would that height be? And if you could spin in circles as fast as you can go, how long could you last? And you see there are things you don’t really need to know, and they add no value to who you truly are or want to be. The question to ask yourself is, who am I? If you could draw you out of you, out of the shell, out of the body or house of clay that holds you and is sacred. That’s all that is and will continue to be while everything else is slipping away into nothingness and oblivion. Who am I is really the only question posed to anyone that has meaning and can sustain a soul in this world or any world. Even in scripture, that is the baseline understanding to human existence, and the fact that separates us from all other living creatures is our God-likeness from within. You take that away, and you would cease to be anything significant at all. That’s what separates us from the animal kingdom, and so you get the picture that you are meant to be an eternal being, which makes you God-like.

Ultimately, one truth remains: you are yourself, defined by your own identity above all else.  You can act out of any other truths if you like until death do you part, and you will just go back to the true you, only self. This is what you get to learn in life here on Earth: can you find yourself and be on Earth what you already are in Heaven? If my identity is already heavenly and from above, then it’s through grabbling with this human side that I contend for my true self within. It’s a bit perplexing and of great concern that you or anyone could miss the point of living so easily while trying to be something they are not meant to be or giving time to something that doesn’t matter at all. Of course, that must be what is meant to be for the one not thinking at all and letting the winds of the Earth blow them about with whatever notion the Earth presents as identity. However, this does not apply to you, Jim, as your interest lies in understanding the unique aspects of yourself that contribute to our collective unity. It is important to recognize that actions toward others ultimately reflect upon oneself.
